How you can participate |
|
|
|
You can participate in the Soil
Knowledge Exchange in a variety of ways, as indicated by the range of
options under the Soil Knowledge Exchange main menu.
In short, though, if you have a
soils-related question, or an issue to raise, or some
information that you would like to contribute, there are two options. You can telephone the Soil Knowledge Broker Team, or you can email us. We
will arrange a time to talk with you so that we can better understand
what you want to do. Knowledge brokering is about people sharing
infomation, and we believe that an early conversation is always
worthwhile.
You can also make an enquiry, or contribute information, using the web application. To do this you will generally need to register and log in. This allows you to interact with other members of the
soils community, for instance through the Discussion Forum. Registering
allows you to lodge enquiries with the Soil Knowledge Broker Service,
and submit documents for storage and for potential exposure to the broader community. It
also allows you to nominate FAQs for consideration by the Soil
Knowledge Broker Team. Additionally, registration allows us a point of
contact if we need to follow up with you. When you register, the only
mandatory contact item we require from you is your e-mail address. You
can be assured that your registration details will remain in
the confidence of the Broker Team.
